Just as you wouldn’t walk into a voting booth and choose the next president because of his cool factor, you shouldn’t choose your next chapter president because of how cool you think he is.
Leaders of chapters (and countries) need to be chosen for their leadership skills and their ability to progress the people they are leading. So just as you would study a political candidate’s plans and policies, get to know what each chapter president nominee would do to make your chapter better. They should have distinct plans of action to reach chapter goals and a strong sense of leading by example.
As the president goes, so goes the chapter!
