These scholarships are created to encourage and recognize academic, leadership and athletic achievement by Epsilon Eta Brothers of Alpha Tau Omega.

Four scholarships will be awarded annually, but all recipients must have increased their grade point average from the previous semester, and be full-time students in good standing with the chapter, University and National Fraternity.

All sections of this application should be completed.

Two scholarships shall be awarded for academic achievement, to those individuals who have improved their grade point average by the greatest percentage from the previous semester.
One scholarship will be awarded to an individual who exhibits outstanding leadership in the fraternity or extracurricular activities.
One individual will receive a scholarship for his achievement as an intramural athlete.

Potential recipients with demonstrated financial need, who have met all other requirements, shall be given additional consideration.

      

Using these criteria, scholarships applicants shall be selected and forwarded to the Foundation by a committee of Epsilon Eta alumni, including a recent graduate and intiates from several prior decades, plus some current actives; or a committee appointed by the ATO Foundation.

The initial four Annual Awards for $1,000 each will be based on June 2008, GPA results. Plus, applications need to be submitted no later than May 31, 2008. If your application is selected, scholarship award checks will be sent directly to MSU’s registrar’s office to be applied towards tuition expenses.

GPA verification/transcripts need to be emailed to the ATO Foundation (cheri@atofoundation.org) no later than July 20, 2008.
