This Saturday I was added to a group chat. From reading up a few messages I discerned that we were talking about what time to leave. “Leave for what?” “MDI.” “Why?” “Because why not? You in?” Sure enough half an hour later we had 2 cars on the road, each with 4 guys headed down to Mount Desert Island. We hiked out to Bar Island during low tide and then hit Sand Beach before grabbing lunch at the Thirsty Whale. I love that these guys are always ready for an adventure.
