Ball State Alumnus Named CIO of the Year Ball State Alumnus Tim Ringlespaugh was recently named Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Year by Indianapolis Business Journal. Brother Ringlespaugh works as the CIO at Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Inc. The Indianapolis Business Journal profiled Brother Ringlespaugh for his work: “….Ringlespaugh manages a staff of 14 focused on Web programming and design, network engineering and database management. A new e-commerce site has increased non-dues revenue 8 percent to 10 percent each year since 2012…” “…I push my team pretty hard outside their comfort zones,” he [Ringlespaugh] said. “I make a deal with them: If it works, they can have the credit. If it doesn’t, I will take the blame. They’ve never disappointed me yet.” This is the second year a Ball State University Theta Alpha Brother has been honored. In 2014, Brother Rick Boyles was awarded Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
