Ball State Brothers Volunteer at local Food Bank

On Wednesday, October 28, 2015, Theta Alpha Brothers Khalid Al-Rasheed, Austin Knight, Taylor Millsap, and Caleb Owens volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Bank for two hours. Brothers sorted food by expiration dates and then packed onions for distribution as the food bank prepares for the holiday season. The mission of Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana is to provide a coordinated approach to alleviating hunger in East Central Indiana. Second Harvest donates over 13 million pounds of food annually and serves as a resource to those in need in Muncie and surrounding communities.
