Freez-A-Thon at NDSU Breaks Record!
North Dakota State - Epsilon Delta
By Johnny Dunn Mar 4, 2022
The Epsilon Delta chapter at NDSU completed their signature event of the spring, “Freez-A-Thon”, the night of February 18th. The event has been going on for more than 20 years at the Epsilon Delta chapter, however, this year’s grand total is believed to be the record at $32,270. The event made waves on campus with the school president, the school mascot, the student body president, and a Chic-Fil-A cow making appearances. It also was spread across social media and the local news within Fargo. The leadership of the chapter did face adversity on Friday when snowy conditions and colder temperatures closed NDSU’s campus. In response, Philanthropy chair Zach Brusseau revised the chapter’s plans to accommodate shorter shifts to ensure the safety of the chapter. Just like the entire week, these adjustments to the original plans were a great success!
