Gamma Mu Takes On KUDM
Kansas - Gamma Mu
By Robert Adams Mar 14, 2017
On February 11th, 2017 the brothers of the Gamma Mu chapter of Alpha Tau Omega helped put on and organize the KU Dance Marathon. Executive Director and Brother Travis Kesinger along with Vice President of Internal Affairs Jadon Beck (seen preparing his stomach for a gross sandwich he ate to raise money for the kids) and Director of Design Robert Adams worked for 14 months along with 11 other directors to raise funds for their $100,000 donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Founded by Brother and alumni member Alex Ross, KUDM has been very special to ATO's of Gamma Mu and continues to be heavily lead by such. Along with the trio, several other brothers were key to the organization's success such as Mitchell Kelly, Jason Frederick, Alex Wagner, Luke Doherty, and Blake Zuniga who all participated months leading up to the event through several committees. The event found itself with the largest number of participants and it's highest total raised since the organization's inception. It continues to be the campus's largest philanthropic organization and prove that #ATOLeads.
