Halloweek

Each year, during the last week of October, the Beta Tau chapter begins a 4 day long philanthropy event we have cleverly dubbed "Halloweek". Unlike previous years, we underwent a major change this year by partnering with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The event consisted of local restaurants hosting "spirit nights" in which a portion of all proceeds were donated to St. Jude. As a chapter, we also convinced several local businesses to donate as well. Then, we ended the week with groups of brothers driving to St.Jude to donate much-needed blood and platelets for the patients. Altogether, the week's profits culminated with over $5,000 in donations for the families at St. Jude.
