Kappa Phi Chapter Tau Of The Month for January!

Tau Of The Month for January goes to Hamid Masood! Hamid spent last semester in Washington D.C. immersed in a world of politics. Hamid took a professional development course where he met a range of professionally inclined individuals, ranging from policy work to congressional press work. Among other courses, Hamid worked for Senator Richard J. Durbin of Illinois as his press intern. He reported on events for the office such as the Kavanaugh hearings, midterms elections, and George H.W. Bush’s funeral. He also got to give tours of the Capitol to Illinois constituents. Lastly, he got to meet Senator Duckworth, Bernie Sanders, Senator Booker, and Senator Hirano! Congrats on an awesome semester Hamid!
