Kappa Rho Hosts First Annual TausGiving Philanthropy Event

The Brothers of Kappa Rho prepared for the entire semester for the signature event that the chapter plans to repeat every year: TausGiving. This event was Thanksgiving themed with all proceeds going towards Cornerstone Schools of Alabama. Through selling tickets for a BBQ dinner and selling paintball gun shots to shoot a Taukey (turkey), the chapter was able to raise $2000 for Cornerstone! The event was held on the Quad with nearly 200 students and faculty in attendance. Cornerstone was overwhelmed by the outcome of the event, and the chapter looks forward to hosting the event again next year.
