NDSU Chapter Wins 2nd Annual “Battle for 12th Ave” Football Game

The score was 6-6 after 3 drives, but after that, the rivalry flag football game between ATO and Sigma Nu was never close. The Epsilon Delta chapter got it’s revenge for last year’s loss against Sigma Nu in dominant fashion, winning 32-6! Credit is due to quarterback and junior Health and Safety Chair, Justin Hausauer, who has been a critical part in elevating the Epsilon Delta chapter flag football program. He has organized and coordinated most of the affairs for the team, as well as coordinating the offense at quarterback. In winning the game, the ED chapter claimed their right to the “Battle for 12th Ave” trophy, which is a fairly new commemorative belt that symbolizes the two chapters history upon it (Pictured below). ATO will own the belt for a least a year, which will be the next time Sigma Nu will have a chance to take it back. However, when next fall rolls around, the ED chapter will not be easy to allow Sigma Nu to have the belt back.
