Playoff run for Epsilon Delta’s intramural team ends by way of an unfortunate late rally

Last week, Epsilon Delta’s “ATO 1” squad had seemingly secured a spot in the championship early in the second half against Alpha Gamma Rho. ATO 1 had already forced three interceptions and was up two touchdowns before an unfortunate shift in momentum. Alpha Gamma Rho’s team scored a touchdown, forced an interception, and then scored another touchdown. AGR was then able to take the lead with a decisive 2-point conversion. Although ATO is out of the competition at NDSU for the intramural championship this fall, all hope of football glory this semester is not lost. The Epsilon Delta chapter will field one squad of 15 brothers to face Sigma Nu in the 2nd annual “Battle for 12th Ave” football game. Sigma Nu won the matchup last year but did not compete in the fraternity league this fall. The ED chapter hopes to take advantage of this and win back the trophy.
