Suicide Awareness Proclamation

On #WorldSuicidePreventionDay, we were joined by pensacola mayor Grover Robinson IV, university president Martha Saunders, and other campus and community leaders to sign a city proclamation which ensures the continued dedication of our fraternity, the university, and community to the mission of helping raise awareness of suicide prevention. In this time, as we remember our brother who lost the battle to suicide a few years ago, we are reminded of why we chose suicide prevention as our philanthropy. Suicide must be prevented and stopped. This week we will be hosting our Viking Week in which we will be putting on various events in order to raise money for Suicide Awareness Voices of Education and Mission22, whose missions are to educate, train, and bring awareness to suicide prevention. If you would like more information, you can visit their websites at SAVE.org and MISSION22.com. If you would like more information about our upcoming events and how you can get involved or donate, please do not hesitate to reach out to us or a brother. Remember, it only takes a minute to change a life. #nationalsuicidepreventionmonth
