Texas- Kappa Alpha Chapter participates in Mavs Take Over

On the 19th of September, the Kappa Alpha chapter participated in Mavs Take Over at Bombay Chopsticks here in Arlington. This event is one of the favorites amongst our university Student Ambassadors, as they are able to reach out to other companies and restaurants in the area and spread our UTA pride; hence the name, "Mavs Take Over." At these events, Student Ambassadors decorate the restaurant with UTA colors/props, and students are invited to come by to eat and visit these places. It's an awesome opportunity for new and returning Mavericks to discover what's in the Arlington community in and out of UTA. This month the Student Ambassadors took over Bombay Chopsticks right here on our campus drag. They are working with the restaurant in hopes to create new student specials. "This is a great way for students to go out and show their Maverick pride along with finding new places for them to visit and possibly dine at!" – Ashford Sonii, brother/UTA Student Ambassador.
