Theta Psi Hosts ATGlow
Stetson - Theta Psi
By Christian Flynn Apr 27, 2016
On Thursday, March 10, Alpha Tau Omega hosted ATGlow, a food and dance party event held in the Commons. All money raised was donated to No Child Hungry, which is the feeding program of My Neighbor’s Children. Through “meal packing events”, food drives, and financial support, My Neighbor’s Children and their partner International Children’s Rescue Ministry are able to provide food for children in the United States and abroad. More than 125 students attended, raising $550. This event was the second formal “signature philanthropy event” of the fraternity, and first since becoming a Chapter. This is also the second large-scale event held on Stetson’s campus as opposed to off campus as a service event. As a result, the members learned significantly about planning events on campus and advertising to both Greek and non-Greek communities. Furthermore, this event allowed the brothers to engage for the second time philanthropically with No Child Hungry, our new philanthropic organization.
