Watch Out SportsCenter!

Brother August Wiese recently lived out his dream of being on camera and talking about something he loves: sports. Wiese, a freshman digital production major, was one of the featured experts on Cardinal Sports Live. To be selected as an expert, students have to endure rigorous coursework and Wiese was more than qualified to be chosen. Wiese talks about his academic struggles and how he was lost in school for a time. He found a home in digital production and it has given him a new purpose. He was a decorated high school athlete in high school but he had to hang up his cleats due to injury. This passion gave him a different way to contribute to the sports world without being a current athlete. He says his biggest source of inspiration is Stuart Scott and Craig Sager because they have defied the odds like Wiese also has. He vows to live his dream in some facet in the future.
