New Hampshire (Delta Delta) Recharter

Feb 7, 2019

Alpha Tau Omega is proud to announce our most recent chartering.  On January 26, the National Fraternity initiated forty men at the re-installation ceremony of the Delta Delta chapter at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH.

After dedicating years of hard work and effort towards establishing themselves, colony members and alumni gathered on Saturday the 26th to begin their official new journey of friendship together. Recruitment Chairman and former Scholarship Chairman, Carsten Kocek, spoke at length about his time within the colony and his experience right after the ceremony, “it makes me so much more confident of what we can do in the future… it’s definitely exhilarating.”

Coordinator for Fraternity and Sorority Life, Jamie Silverstein, also vocalized her joy for the newly initiated men of Delta Delta, “the men of this fraternity are overwhelmingly strong willed and I’m really proud of them.” She later remarked that she anticipated great things from this newly chartered chapter and expected other university officials to envision the same success for the men of Delta Delta.

“Seeing these guys come together over the last couple years has been heartwarming, it is absolutely amazing seeing these smart guys build the kind of friendships that we built thirty years ago,” said Delta Delta Board of the Trustees President, Joe Berwanger ’88, “I really look forward to seeing what these guys can do.”
