A brotherhood strong on the eternal and immutable principles of Love and Respect: A letter to our Chaplain.

The Eta Beta Chapter at Georgia State University prides itself on having a strong, diverse, and unique brotherhood. “…to know no north, no south, no east, no west…”; this excerpt from our Creed best exemplifies the core of our brotherhood, as the Eta Beta chapter is home to brothers from all walks of life. Brothers of different races, cultures, religions, and beliefs are all brought into our chapter and bonded by the ties of brotherhood. Initiating them is only the beginning, however, as a brotherhood is only as strong as the Chaplain. Eta Beta’s Chaplain, Nigel Enoch, not only understands the importance and difficulty of nurturing a strong brotherhood but embraces it. As COVID-19 continues to alter the daily lives of our brothers, Nigel has continued to successfully grow our brotherhood and ensure that we will not only come out of this as a chapter unchanged but a chapter stronger. Between hosting our weekly bro-talks, providing motivation week after week during Chapter, and being there for us unconditionally; I speak on the behalf of all our brothers in the Eta Beta chapter when I say- thank you. Without Nigel, our brotherhood would not be near as strong as it is today, and I would not have a brother in which I can deeply rely on during difficult times. Love and Respect, Andrew Estes
