Billy Weathers ’13 organized the initial “Long Shots” three on three basketball tournament for Des Moines kids. The Des Moines schools have not allowed any athletic competition since the Covid pandemic closed the schools for in-person learning. His B.Wlll Foundation will equally distribute all proceeds from the event to each of the five Des Moines schools for their athletic departments. The event was covered by all local media including the DM Register.
