Bath Iron Works Tour (Maine Orono 20160915)

Brother Brady Davis (second from right) recently had a special opportunity to tour the Bath Iron Works shipyard in Bath, ME. The highlight of the tour was an opportunity to step inside the USS Michael Monsoor and witness how the ship is being constructed. The DDG-1001 is the second Zumwalt-class destroyer to be built and is named after a Navy SEAL who lost his life during the Iraq War and posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. The ship’s motto is You Never Quit. Our Brotherhood is very fortunate to have Brothers taking advantage of such unique opportunities!
