This past month, the Beta Iota Chapter was represented on an enormous stage at both the Georgia Tech Inventure Prize and the ACC Inventure Prize. Jack Corelli, VP of Beta Iota, is one of four members of CauteryGuard, a company which created an electrocautery device which aims to create safer surgical procedures. At the Georgia Tech Inventure Prize, CauteryGuard won both the People's Choice award and the overall Grand Prize. At the ACC Inventure Prize, CauteryGaurd continued to garner recognition as it again won the People's Choice award. Congratulations to Jack and the other members of CauteryGuard, and may they have the best of luck moving forward with their company.
