Layton Sheets serves as the Worthy Sentinel and Recruitment Chairman for Alpha Zeta. He formerly served as Homecoming Chairman (Fall 2017). He is currently an Operations Associate Intern for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, the High-A Minor League affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. Layton serves his community as the PA Announcer for both baseball and softball at Houston County High School and as the Organist and Guitarist at Roberta United Methodist Church. He is actively involved on Mercer University’s campus as the Manager of the Club Baseball team, the Social Media Director for the Mercer Maniacs, a member of Mercer College Republicans and a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.
