Gamma Rho's Brother Nordmann Spent Spring Break Serving the Community

Brother Thomas Nordmann spent his spring break participating in a community service project through University of Missouri’s Alternative Breaks program. Thomas and a group of others traveled to Billings, Montana where the focus of their trip was youth empowerment. In Billings, they worked through a head start program called Explorer’s Academy. The purpose of this academy is to help young children and their families achieve school readiness as well as enhance the children’s overall development and create greater educational opportunities. Thomas served as a teacher’s assistant in a preschool classroom where many of the student’s family income is below $30,000. This was an amazing opportunity for Thomas and we’re glad our brother could participate in such a great cause.
