Kappa Rho Initiates Alpha Pledge Class of 31 (Samford 20151202)

On Friday, November 20 the Kappa Rho Chapter at Samford University initiated 31 men into Alpha Tau Omega in Reid Chapel on campus. This is the initiation of the Alpha Pledge Class which means that the chapter has just completed its first formal pledgeship process. The pledgeship process focused on community involvement through service which included the pledge class volunteering across the city as well as Tausday events on campus. Pledgeship concluded with Help Week volunteering at Cornerstone Schools of Alabama (Kappa Rho’s primary philanthropy), handing out donuts and orange juice in Ben Brown Plaza to promote TausGiving, helping out with various tasks at sorority houses, and picking up trash along a local running track.
