Brother Carlson recently participated in the YMCAs Lifeguard challenge. The lifeguard challenge is a competition between all of the Des Moines area YMCAs. It tests skills, efficiency, and ability of lifeguards. He hopefully won't have to use his skills in the future, but if a tragedy does happen he will be ready.
