Mitchell Scholars and Brothers of the Beta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega

The Mitchell Institute is an organization established by Senator George J. Mitchell with a mission to increase the chances that young adults from all corners of the State of Maine will aspire to attend and be successful in college. Each year, the Mitchell Institute awards scholarships to one student from every public high school in Maine. Many Brothers of the Beta Upsilon Chapter have been awarded this scholarship and continue to be actively involved with this wonderful organization’s leadership development programs.
