Tanglewood and Tau Talks

This past weekend we had our fall retreat at Tanglewood in Lincolnville, ME. Aside from our usual shenanigans of kickball, basketball, and roasting s’mores, the guys settled in around the fire after dark to have a prolonged moment of “keeping it real.” During the semester it is easy to be swept up in the current of classes and the general buzz and stress of being at college. Tau Talks, however, always bring us back to a moment of tranquility where we can air out what’s on our minds. I won’t share what was said, as a great deal of us revealed cards that we usually hold close to our chest, but every time, I am reminded that this brotherhood is something that most men our age have never had the privileged of experiencing. I’m blessed to have brothers that care so deeply about each other, -looking forward to the rest of the semester with these men.
