Texas Senate Bill 11

West Texas A & M - Zeta Kappa

By Edward Akinyemi Nov 4, 2015

Texas Senate Bill 11 (West Texas A & M 20151103)

Senate Bill 11 would allow for Texas Universities to allow for concealed carry on campus. Since West Texas is part of the Texas A&M college system, a webinar hosted by the System Attorney was held in part to educate students on how it would be carried out, the steps to implement them, how it would affect school, what areas would be gun free, etc. As Student Body President I attended the webinar and was proud of the undergrads of Zeta Kappa for attending. Brothers Treston Johnson, Andrew Alexander, Conrad Navarro, and Cody Abraham all were present and attentive during the discussion. Glad to see the active membership is playing an active role in these decision. L&R
