Why I Joined ATO: Brother Evan Doughty
By Vatslav Orlov Sep 21, 2015
“I joined ATO at NC State my junior year after pledging as a recent transfer student. I decided to rush because I was unfamiliar with the school and the campus, and I figured it would be the best way to meet interesting people who were motivated to be successful on and off campus. I found exactly that environment and that group of people within ATO. I challenged myself and my brothers to be the best that we could be, and they challenged me too: we worked hard and had the best GPA on campus. In addition, I was encouraged to seek out leadership positions: I served as both the philanthropy chair and as the new member educator during separate terms. I can confidently say that joining ATO helped give me the confidence and leadership skills to be successful in my post-graduate life. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the chapter, and I see great things in their future.” -Brother Evan Doughty, Alumni
