Brother Lee co-hosts a fashion show and sings as part of a choir, all in KiSwahili, as part of his performances at the second annual KU African Languages Festival, done in honor of Dr. David Mburu, who passed away last semester. Dr. Mburu was Brother Lee's KiSwahili teacher and an integral part of the African and African American Studies Department at the university.
