Scholarly Brothers
Marietta - Beta Rho
By Alec Bianchi Apr 23, 2017
Marietta College celebrated its annual All Scholars Day on April 21st. Classes were cancelled in order for students to present their semester and/or year long research. We had multiple brothers involved in long term research including Devin Brooker, Charles Drennen, and Alec Bianchi. Brother Brooker's project was a psychology study on extroversion and ostracism. Brother Drennen had a year long research project involving writing computer code to record and analyze logging while drilling applications – Though he is a petroleum engineering student, Charles also won a NASA Space Grant due to his tremendous work. Brother Bianchi, also a petroleum engineering major, worked with Marietta' Energy Business Alliance group to help design and perform cost analysis on Drilling new horizontal wells off a multi-well pad in Harrison County, OH. Brothers of the Beta Rho Chapter were present at the presentations for support!
