Battle of the Buffalo Stampedes to $130,000 Raised

The Theta-Pi Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega hosted its 16th Annual Battle of the Buffalo April 12 at Big Spring Park in Huntsville, Alabama. This year’s event brought together a variety of local favorites, including Phat Sammy’s, Blue Oak BBQ, Champy’s, and Drake’s—which took home the coveted award for Best Wings. Thanks to beautiful spring weather and incredible community support, the event raised an impressive $130,000. All proceeds will benefit the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation and HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology. Battle of the Buffalo is held in memory of Paul Salmon, a beloved brother of the fraternity who passed away from acute myeloid leukemia in 2007. His legacy continues to inspire the chapter’s commitment to supporting cancer research and honoring those affected by the disease.
