Taus Shine Bright at UAH’s Student Life Awards Ceremony

The University of Alabama in Huntsville hosted its annual Student Life Awards ceremony April 13, recognizing outstanding students and organizations making a positive impact on campus life. At this year’s event, the men of the Theta-Pi Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega stood out, taking home several of the evening’s top honors, including: Rising Student Leader of the Year – Will Sowell Student Employee of the Year – Brayden Sellars Dr. B. Jean Fisher Award – Mark Porter Most Scholastic Chapter on Campus – Alpha Tau Omega Program of the Year – Battle of the Buffalo Blue & White Award Recipients – Jackson Martin, Cadis Ammons, and Sam Harris In addition to these impressive achievements, several brothers and the chapter itself were recognized as finalists in the following categories: Finalist for Registered Student Organization (RSO) of the Year – Alpha Tau Omega Finalists for the President’s Award – Mark Porter and Chris Munoz This incredible showing at the Student Life Awards caps off a remarkable 2024–2025 academic year for the Taus.
