Building Leaders in the Mountains (Northern Kentucky 20151216)

This fall while most NKU students took time to relax between classes, 6 brothers took the opportunity to join fellow students in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The occasion was for NKLI’s annual fall Breaking Ground Retreat. This retreat that is hosted by NLS each is aimed at building students leaders from the ground up. Finding your “flame” and using that flame to foster a fire that will take you into leader is the objective of the entire retreat that last 3 days. The 6 brothers that attended to build these skills mentioned how much they enjoyed the experience. Brother Yerace said, “I have attended each year and I still manage to take something from it every time, this year I realized that my own ambitions get in the way of me being able to succeed in leadership.”
