Cincinnati Reds PUIG Section

Theta Omega would like to thank the Cincinnati Reds for inviting our chapter to be a part of the first group of Reds fans to be seated in the new PUIG section in the right field corner of Great American Ballpark. The Reds provided our chapter with 60 free seats and meals in the new section in their recent game against the Atlanta Braves. The organizations only request from us was to “get rowdy” cheering on the reds and and player Yasiel Puig during the game… Theta Omega clearly stepped up to the challenge which was shown by our chapters extensive screen time on the Jumbotron during the game! Puig even commented on our section to the associated press “I was surprised to see the fans in right field cheering for me,” Puig said. “I want to thank them for supporting me and my teammates. I saw the horses, the Cuban flag. There must be a lot of Cuban people in Cincinnati. I have to meet some of them to find a good Cuban restaurant.”
