Kappa Rho is Awarded in Samford Step Sing

This past weekend, the brothers of ATO Kappa Rho competed in a Samford tradition known as Step Sing. The brothers had just two and a half weeks to learn and practice a 6-minute show that combines, singing, choreography, and storytelling. They performed their "Mine for the Taking" show four times, and on Saturday night were declared 1st runners-up in the sweepstakes competition, beating out fifteen other groups. They also won judges awards for choreography and music, and the participants’ choice award for choreography. As a young chapter, this was only Kappa Rho's third time competing in Step Sing, and they are honored to have done so well.
