The Amazing Race: Greek Week Edition

The Amazing Race: Greek Week Edition Our fraternity was paired with the Alpha Phi sorority for Greek Week this year and together we put on a great show. The theme of the skit was The Amazing Race, which is a TV show that features couples traveling around the world competing against other couples in various challenges. Vivienne Kayser and Henry Politz were the skit liaisons of Alpha Phi and ATO, respectively, and Kylee Halverson oversaw the entire operation, as she is an executive member of Alpha Phi. In addition, Ben Becker, Chris Hulett, and Joe Miner helped Henry and Vivienne write the script. After weeks of practicing, the skit team finally made their live performance on April 13th. The skit performance was awesome, delivering many funny lines in addition to great acting from the cast. The show was highlighted by a great opening act from Lilly Size, Dom Monteleone, and Joe Miner, a quick but hilarious appearance from Shadley James, and a show-stopping singing solo from Jack Bartley. Overall, the show went very well and everyone who watched the show seemed to enjoy it. Perhaps the best part of the skit is not the fact that the performance itself was really good, but instead it’s the fact that all the people involved with the skit had a lot of fun throughout the entire process of it and many quality friendships were made along the way. This group of individuals who performed the skit worked very hard for several weeks preparing for last Tuesday’s live performance, and it’s safe to say that all of that hard work was very much worth it.
