The Pi Class

On September 23, 2023, Kappa Rho welcomed 38 new members of the Pi class. With a variety of backgrounds and already being involved in various areas on campus, this confident, energetic, and intentional group is the result of one of Kappa Rho’s best recruiting cycles yet. The Pi class has already showcased their ability to impact not only themselves, but also active brothers. Their competitiveness shined brightly on Bid Day through Squid Ball and later on through Broomball. A couple weeks later, all 38 Pi class members experienced Pledge Retreat. Pledge Retreat was filled with communion and laughter. Pi class members, Caleb Jenkins and Drew Waller, described it as one of their favorite memories of pledgeship so far. In addition to pledge retreat, Pi class members have also actively participated in various events in Kappa Rho, such as Broomball and Taulympics. These experiences have quickly become cherished memories, especially ones featuring Bingus, a newfound mascot for the pledge class. Pi class member Cade Schrimsher expressed his gratitude for how Kappa Rho has not only welcomed him but also pushed him to become a better man. Membership Educator, Reeves Mileski, shared his thoughts on the Pi class. He said, “This pledge class has increased my passion for this chapter and its future. I’ve made so many amazing memories with these future brothers and can’t wait for many more.” Active brothers Christian Haworth, Luke Bollier, and Braden Hodges also play pivotal roles in the growth and development of the Pi class serving on Membership Education committee. The Pi class’s enthusiasm, camaraderie, and dedication to the values of ATO and Kappa Rho set the stage for an exciting future. We anticipate great things from this remarkable group of young men to propel the future of ATO Kappa Rho.
