Walks Hard 2018: Grand Valley State University

Grand Valley State - Kappa Lambda

By atolive Feb 22, 2018

ATO Walks Hard is a one hundred and sixty mile, eight day walk from Traverse City, Michigan, to the Allendale Campus of Grand Valley State University.

Twenty men from the Grand Valley State Chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity gave up their spring break to raise funds and awareness for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

This is their sixth year doing the walk and during that time have travelled over nine hundred and sixty miles, and raised more than $210,000.

Several of the men reported it as one of the hardest tasks they had ever completed.

Senior Zac Totton said “It is that one person, who can live a little bit better, because of what we are doing”. and that keeps them motivated to walk, year after year.
