Theta Thetas Sweetheart Challenge
Illinois State - Colony
By Mike Berger Oct 11, 2015
During the week of October 21-26, the Taus from the Theta Theta Chapter held their annual Sweetheart Challenge event benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. During the week the Chapter held many events on the Illinois State quad including penny wars between the sororities, gift card raffles for local restaurant and shops, a dunk tank in which many Taus and our faculty advisor got dunked, and a steal your hearts competition where all the sororities competed on the quad in a race to collect as many hearts as they could before they ran out. To finish of the week, on Saturday, we held an all day event in which the sororities came to compete against each other in various activities for the opportunity to become our sweetheart. These activities included a race in a 40 foot obstacle course, a minute to win it challenge, a themed flag decoration challenge, and lastly a drag show where each of the sororities dress up a member from the chapter and have them walk in a drag competition. Once the event was over and all the money collected was counted, the Taus raised more than $2,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project! Go Taus!
