Nick Mock, Mount Union ’11, crowned Homecoming King

ALPHA NU (Mount Union)—Emily Mazzaferri and Nick Mock were crowned University of Mount Union homecoming queen and king during halftime of the Mount Union vs. Otterbein game on Saturday.

Mazzaferri, a middle childhood education major of Canton, is a member of English Society, Kappa Delta Pi, Order of Omega, Sigma Tau Delta and the Student National Education Association. She is vice president of Delta Sigma Tau sorority and a member of the cross country and indoor and outdoor track teams. She has consistently been named to the dean’s list while at Mount Union. After graduation, she hopes to land a job teaching language arts.

Mock, an English major of Newton Falls, is president of GAMMA, chairperson of the Raider Programming Board and vice president of Sigma Tau Delta. He is a member of Calliope, Alpha Tau Omega, and has been named to the dean’s list consistently at Mount Union. Following graduation, he plans to join the college entertainment circuit as a musician and eventually attend grad school to become a college professor.
