Brother Jack Kemp named to the PFRA “Hall of Very Good”

Mar 5, 2013

OCCIDENTAL (Delta Phi)–The Pro Football Researchers Association recently announced its annual selections for the Hall of Very Good in its January/February issue of The Coffin Corner. Four great players of the past, who are alumni of NIC member fraternities, were selected: linebacker Bill Bergey (Kappa Alpha Order at Arkansas State), defensive end L.C. Greenwood (Phi Beta Sigma at Arkansas-Pine Bluff), quarterback Jack Kemp (Alpha Tau Omega at Occidental) and guard Adolf “Swede” Youngstrom (Phi Sigma Kappa at Dartmouth). Each year, PFRA recognizes star players who had outstanding pro careers but have not been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Since the organization started its Hall of Very Good selections, several men have been inducted into the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
