Battle of the Buffalo rages at Alabama-Huntsville

Apr 8, 2010

This Friday from 6-9 p.m., Alpha Tau Omega fraternity once again hosts its annual Battle of the Buffalo Wing contest on the top floor of the Intermodal Parking Facility.

The event pits the greatest wings in Huntsville against each other to see which will reign supreme. It is guaranteed to be bigger than last year, with Beauregard’s, Hooters, Wings to Go and more coming out to stake their claim to the title of best wings in Huntsville.

Moe’s Southwest Grill will be tentatively debuting its Mini-Buff Burrito. This will be its world premiere, so this is your chance to try it before anyone else! In addition, other buffalo-themed dishes will be served, including crawfish, chili, pizza and more.

The price of entry is only $5 for all-you-can-eat wings. Live music will be played throughout the night. All the proceeds will be donated to the Russell Hill Cancer Foundation in memory of Paul Salmon, a brother who lost the fight with leukemia.
