Taus Named to NIC 2012 All-Fraternity All-American Football Teams

The North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) released its 2013 All-Fraternity All-American Football teams, featuring Alpha Tau Omega alumni Steve Spurrier, Florida ’66, and Michael Sirianni, Mount Union ’93.

Steve Spurrier was named a Division I FBS/FCS Honorable Mention Coach by the NIC. He was initiated into the Alpha Omega chapter at the University of Florida in 1966 and is currently the head football coach at the University of South Carolina. Spurrier is known for winning the Heisman Trophy in 1966, coaching the University of Florida football team to six Southeastern Conference (SEC) championships and a consensus national championship in 1996.

Michael ‘Mike’ Sirianni was named a Division I FBS/FCS Honorable Mention Coach by the NIC. He was initiated into the Alpha Nu chapter at the University of Mount Union in 1993 and is currently the head football coach at Washington & Jefferson College. Sirianni’s most notable achievement is being named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Coach of the Year four times within his first 10 years as head coach.
